ShredMode

Local-first nutrition and fitness tracking for people who want fast logging, reliable data, and clear daily feedback.

ShredMode keeps your core data on your device and works without requiring a cloud account. Optional Google connection is available for AI-powered features and Google Drive backup.

What ShredMode does

ShredMode is an iPhone app for calorie tracking, macro tracking, meal logging, training activity logging, and progress monitoring. It is designed around a local-first model so your app data remains available on-device as the primary source of truth.

The app is built to make everyday logging fast and practical, while still supporting more advanced features like AI-assisted food logging, optional Google Drive and iCloud backup and restore, camera-based food scan flows, Apple Health integration, and live heart-rate workout sessions.

Features

Local-first data storage

Your core app data is stored locally on your device, which helps keep the app fast, resilient, and usable even when network connectivity is limited.

Fast food and meal logging

Track calories, macros, foods, meals, and daily progress with streamlined logging flows built for regular use.

Training and activity tracking

Log workouts, training activities, and step-related progress alongside nutrition data in one place.

Optional AI features

If you choose to connect Google, ShredMode can use AI-powered features to help interpret food inputs and related logging flows.

Optional cloud backup

Google Drive AppData and iCloud backup are optional and user-controlled. Core tracking stays local-first on device.

Apple Health integration

With permission, ShredMode can read steps, energy, workouts, and heart rate from Apple Health, and save live heart-rate workouts you record in ShredMode back to Health.

Built with a local-first approach

ShredMode is designed so your core app data lives on your device first. Connecting external services is optional and limited to specific features. We do not position the product as cloud-first or sync-first.
